Terms of Service
Effective April 24, 2026
1. Your Account
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You may use PCBWeave only if you can form a binding agreement and comply with applicable laws.
2. Your Project Content
You keep ownership of schematics, PCB layouts, footprints, symbols, comments, files, and other content you create or upload to PCBWeave. These terms do not transfer your intellectual property to PCBWeave.
3. Hosting License to PCBWeave
You grant PCBWeave a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, cache, transmit, display, and otherwise operate on your content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service. This includes serving your private projects to collaborators you authorize and serving public marketplace content to other users.
4. Marketplace Publishing
If you publish a symbol, footprint, project, design block, library item, or other content to the PCBWeave marketplace, you represent and attest that:
- You own the content or have the rights needed to publish it.
- The license metadata you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- Your publication does not knowingly infringe someone else's rights.
- PCBWeave may host, cache, index, preview, and make the published content available through the marketplace.
5. DMCA and Copyright Complaints
If you believe content on PCBWeave infringes your copyright, send a notice to legal@pcbweave.com. Please include the copyrighted work, the allegedly infringing PCBWeave URL or identifier, your contact information, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized, a statement that the notice is accurate under penalty of perjury, and your physical or electronic signature.
PCBWeave may remove or disable access to reported content and may provide the notice to the user who posted it. Counter-notices may be sent to the same address.
6. Service Changes
PCBWeave may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service as the product evolves. We will try to avoid unnecessary disruption to user projects and published marketplace content.
